Dear Clients, Partners and Candidates,

Today, we want to share an important warning about a serious issue that's come up recently. Fake websites are pretending to be us, Plavno, to trick people. 

Let's explain a bit more about what's happening. Someone reached out to us after being scammed by websites using the Plavno name and logo. Some of these websites are PLAVNOPLATFORM.XYZ, plavnoseo.cc, plavno-review.com, https://plavno-workaso.online, https://plavno-alliance.cc.

This scam isn't new, and its essence hasn't changed for years: easy earnings and enticing conditions → paying to participate → initial "success" → more investments for reaching a new level → the end, when all investments are lost, it's impossible to withdraw money, and the "employer" stops communicating.

The victims told us the same story: they were looking for a job and got an offer from what they thought was a recruitment agency working for Plavno. This agency offered them a remote job that sounded perfect, promising good pay and flexible hours. They even assigned a "mentor" to help get them started. We want to warn you that Plavno doesn't work with recruitment agencies!

At first, everything seemed fine. The mentor gave them tasks and said they were doing a great job. But then, things took a strange turn. The mentor said they needed to pay money to keep their job or to buy things they needed for work. That's when the victim realized something was wrong. This job offer was a scam.

We want to make it very clear to everyone: We, Plavno, have no connection to these fake websites or the scams they're pulling. We never ask for money from our employees or job candidates in this way. It's against everything we believe in.

How to Avoid Falling for Scams

Unfortunately, this wasn't a one-time thing. Other people have been tricked by similar scams, thinking they were working with us. So, we're asking all of you to be extra careful. We're doing our best to deal with these scammers and protect our name.

If you're offered a job, it's worth spending a little time checking the information before handing over your personal data and transferring money.

The bare minimum to check:

• Official brand resources: website, channels, social networks (e.g. Linkedin or Facebook) -  in our case, look at the official site Plavno.io and our official contact pages.
• Compare what the company does (see Our services page or About Us page) versus what is offered to you.
• Contact persons: who is the person you're ready to give your personal data and transfer money to, is there any connection to the company, and how can they prove it?
• Whether the person has a corporate email and can move the conversation there. For example, all our corporate emails are under the domain @plavno.io. To submit resumes, we use HR@plavno.io or personal corporate addresses of the HR department.
• If in doubt, you can always contact the brand through official channels and the contacts listed on the website.

We take this matter very seriously and are committed to keeping our community safe from scams. If you come across anything suspicious or have any concerns, please let us know.
