Compounding the issue, the company faced a surge in new store openings, requiring entire teams to be hired at once. As the volume of resumes skyrocketed, the HR department became overwhelmed. To tackle these challenges, Verde Local turned to us for an Al-powered hiring assistant — designed to ease the HR workload and improve candidate selection, increasing the likelihood of long-term employee retention.


Verde Local has embedded an Al-powered assistant directly into its official website to streamline the hiring process for sales and cashier positions. The Al assistant initiates candidate screening by collecting essential details such as citizenship, age, full name, phone number verification, and city of residence. This initial filtering process ensures only qualified candidates proceed further. By automating these steps, Verde Local significantly reduces the time from initial contact to interview scheduling. The system not only alleviates the burden on HR as the company rapidly expands but also ensures round-the-clock candidate engagement, even on weekends and holidays — eliminating gaps in recruitment efficiency.
Seamlessly integrated with the SkillVE system, the Al assistant stores and tracks all candidate interactions. Once a user submits their information, they are identified within the system, allowing the Al to review their application history and determine the next steps. Candidates then respond to a series of questions via voice messages, enabling the Al to assess both the content of their answers and their communication skills — critical for customer-facing roles. Beyond basic screening, the Al assistant analyzes psychological traits, adapting its tone and approach to encourage honest responses. It also conducts background checks using open sources to flag any criminal records or administrative violations. If a candidate passes these evaluations, the Al schedules an in-person interview at a company office.
